The Salty B: A New Shopping Destination in Huntington Beach
07.12.23
Downtown Huntington Beach just got a little bit more stylish with the opening of The Salty B. This new boutique is the brainchild of two female entrepreneurs, Hattie Ruggles and Alicia Cox, who have teamed up to bring customers a unique shopping experience that caters specifically to the Huntington Beach lifestyle. The store offers fashion-forward items that are perfect for everything from a day at the beach to a night out on the town.
The Salty B features a carefully curated collection of clothing and accessories, including bathing suits, cover-ups, denim, dresses, sleepwear, jewelry, and more. Shoppers will find top brands like Au+Ora, Blue Blush, Bromelia, LA | TC, Lotus and Luna, MATE THE LABEL, MINKPINK, Show Me Your Mumu, SOAH, The Laundry Room, and VYB Swim.
Originally established online, The Salty B has since expanded to include pop-up shops, and now a brick-and-mortar store that allows for an even wider selection of products. In addition to clothing and accessories, the boutique also offers home goods and unique finds sourced locally and from all over the world. Customers can also browse a permanent jewelry collection and a selection of prints from Candace Rock Photography, a local photographer who specializes in beachside family portraits, engagement, wedding photography, and more.
Alicia Cox, co-founder of The Salty B and owner of Prjkt Restaurant Group, which operates restaurants at California State Park’s Bolsa Chica and Huntington State Beaches, is excited about the new venture. "The Salty B goes beyond offering fashionable items – we like to say we are recreating recreation, which means creating quality and memorable experiences for our community along the beach. This boutique aligns perfectly with our desire to bring something uniquely fun and beautiful to our city. It’s going to be a vibe!”
Located at 207 5th Street in downtown Huntington Beach, The Salty B is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information and to browse the collection, visit shopthesaltyb.com and follow @shopthesaltyb on social media.
Whether you're a local or just visiting, The Salty B is a must-visit destination for fashion-forward shoppers who love the Huntington Beach lifestyle.
